Let’s talk steak-because that’s what truly sets The Cricketers Arms apart. The 48oz Steak N Chips is an absolute beast. It’s not just the size that wows; it’s the perfect char, the juicy tenderness, and the way it lands on your table like a trophy. For anyone serious about their red meat, the 32oz Rump Steak or the T Bone Steak might just be your next guilty pleasure. And if you’re in the mood for surf and turf, they've got that classic pairing sorted too, with fresh seafood adding a welcome contrast to the hearty cuts.
For those not strictly on a carnivorous mission, the menu doesn’t disappoint. There's the creamy Lasagne for comfort food fans, the sizzling Paneer Tikka for veggie lovers craving something bold, and even pizza-yes, proper cheesy, crisp-edged pizza that holds its own among the grills. And if you’re leaning towards something spicy and smoky, the Tandoori Chicken hits the spot with just the right amount of char and punch.
One of the best parts? This isn’t just a place for eating-it’s a full-on experience. The Cricketers Arms knows how to turn an ordinary night into a memorable one. There’s live music, karaoke nights, quiz evenings, and if you're into sports, this place is a solid pick for watching the big match with a pint in hand. With options like Banks Mild or a refreshing cider from their extensive beer selection, the bar is a proper destination in itself. Not in the mood for alcohol? An Iced Tea or a great coffee will hit the spot just fine.
The vibe here is laid-back and friendly, making it great for solo diners, lunch hangouts, or a casual night out. Accessibility is clearly a priority too, with a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, seating, and toilet, making everyone feel welcome. The outdoor seating is perfect for warmer days, and for those in a rush, kerbside pickup and takeaway options are available.
What adds to the appeal is how versatile the experience can be. Want to grab a quick bite? They’ve got small plates and bar snacks. Craving a full feast? Their main menu will more than satisfy. From the 12oz Sirloin to the Gammon Steak, everything is prepared with care, generous in portion, and surprisingly affordable given the quality.
This isn’t your average steakhouse-it’s a community hub, a sports bar, a live music venue, and a grillhouse all rolled into one. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet meal or showing up with mates for a lively evening, The Cricketers Arms Steakhouse & Grill offers the kind of comfort, variety, and energy that makes it more than just a restaurant-it’s a proper local legend in the heart of West Bromwich.

Went out with friends for a quiet meal and catch up. This is marked as a Steak House, so I decided to put it to the test. We ordered drinks and meals and sat at our table, the pub wasn't very busy at 7pm . Food turned up around 20 minutes 1 x 10oz ribeye 1 x 16oz rump (lookedmore like 32oz) massive, 2 x gammon steaks . My Rump done medium was amazing, very succulent, and tasty. There is no carpark. My only grip was it had NO real ale on a pull ( Shipyard, Punk). I would definitely recommend this place for somewhere to eat. And next time I'm going to try to India meals. Carl
Booked this place not really knowing anything about it and was really very surprised at just how good the food here is. The steaks were the very best we've ever eaten from any restaurant and all at super reasonable prices. The knives fell through the rump with ease, we had two 50oz sumos, one 32oz and one 16oz and all were cooked to perfection. I can't recommend this place enough, it's a little gem with ample private seating and the friendliest staff. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed after visiting the cricketers arms. Externally the place looks like a typical West Bromwich pub, but don't be fooled the food and service they provide is absolutely second to none and we shall be returning for more great food.
Very nice steaks, which is what we went for. All the food was good, flavoursome and enjoyable. If you compare to a Miller and carter I found the steaks here much more flavoursome and cheaper, so if you like your steaks put this place on your to do list Not a football fan and that was on every screen you could see. We do plan on returning with more guests next time who also want to try the steaks, that will be in September, so yes all round enjoyable and a return planned.
Lovely pub, great service from friendly staff, the food was amazing, fantastic steaks and a good pint of beer, we will be back.
A good place to go for nice steak chips peas & mushrooms. Really nice steaks, maybe just a tad ££ but probably worth it. Never have to wait too long either
